Pacific Northwest Fertility and IVF Specialists is located on the 10th floor of the 1101 Madison Building on the First Hill
Campus of Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington (WA). Our state of the art facility houses both clinical
and laboratory services with the latest in diagnostic, surgical and laboratory equipment. Our on-site treatment facilities offers all fertility
services including in vitro fertilization, egg and embryo donation, (PGD) pre-implantation genetic diagnosis, inseminations, reproductive
surgery, ovulation induction, and andrology services including sperm cryopreservation. Patients who are just starting an infertility evaluation
and are not yet ready for referral to a specialty clinic may enroll in our Mind, Body, Sprit classes.
Our embryology laboratory was designed with clean room conditions which minimizes distress to eggs and embryos. The Embryology
laboratory is equipped with a state of the art air handling unit that eliminates all volatile organic compounds as well as particulates that
are deemed harmful to the embryo. The laboratory is equipped with all of the latest in technological equipment which allows some of the most
advanced culture systems including blastocyst culture and a laser system which allows ease in performing PGD biopsies.

Dr. Hickok is a Reproductive Endocrinologist who has been in clinical practice on the Swedish Medical Center campus
for the past 14 years in Seattle, Washington (WA). He was previously the Medical Director of Reproductive Technologies, which provided
embryology and andrology laboratory support services for the Swedish medical community and for Pacific Gynecology Specialists of which
he was previously a member.
Dr. Hickok attended medical school
and received his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Washington. He completed his subspecialty fellowship
training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Oregon Health Sciences Center in Portland, Oregon. He is Board Certified in
Obstetric and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Hickok maintains a close affiliation
with the University of Washington where he is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is actively
involved in the residency-training program.
Dr Hickok is also active in local and regional medical societies and is the past president of the
Seattle Gynecologic Society and Pacific Northwest Obstetric and Gynecologic Association. In addition he has been the program director for the
Washington State Obstetrical Association and the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society of which he is a member of the Board of Directors. Dr.
Hickok is also a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, Society of Assisted Reproductive Technology and Society of Reproductive
Surgeons. He has been honored for the past 5 years to be named as one of Seattle’s top doctors and voted one of the best doctors in America.
He has published numerous articles and book chapters and has been a well-traveled speaker presenting talks on numerous reproductive medicine
topics throughout the northwest.
