OHSU - Oregon Health and Science University Fertility Program

We offer a wide range of fertility services to patients who want to become parents. We are distinguished from other academic care facilities by dedicating board certified physicians to provide all of your reproductive care and infertility treatment. This means that your care will receive the full time individual and personal attention of a Reproductive Endocrinologist.

We were the first infertility program in Oregon, the first successful in vitro fertilization (IVF) and GIFT program, and one of the first to develop and offer ICSI, extended embryo culture, in vitro maturation, and preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) to patients. While we utilize the latest proven fertility techniques, patients also benefit from the experience our physicians acquire from our extensive clinical research program.

Marsha Gorrill, M.D., graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine in l981. She was an assistant professor in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology at UCLA Medical Center through l989, and attending physician and assistant professor in the Department of Reproductive Endocrinology, University of Illinois through l990. She joined the faculty at OHSU in l992 as assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and is presently the medical director of OHSU Fertility Consultants and director of the In Vitro Fertilization Program. Dr. Gorrill’s special interest is in working with patients considering third-party reproduction.
