Dr. Magarelli:

Dr. Paul C. Magarelli is a Co-Medical Director of Corona Institute for Reproductive Medicine & Fertility in Corona, California (CA). He is also the Founder and Director of Reproductive Medicine and Fertility Centers in Colorado Springs and Albuquerque, New Mexico (NM). He was trained as a Ph.D. Scientist with a specialty in Reproductive Biology and Nutritional Biochemistry.

His career shifted when he realized his calling was to help people with their reproductive issues. He received his Medical Degree at the University of Arizona and his Residency training in Ob/Gyn at Duke University. He then crossed country to train at UCLA/Cedar's Sinai's prestigious Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility Fellowship. He is board certified in Ob/Gyn and subspecialty board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility and is Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of New Mexico.

Dr. Werlin:

Practicing since 1982, Dr. Lawrence B. Werlin is a nationally noted specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility. He is a Co-Medical Director of Corona Institute for Reproductive Medicine & Fertility in Corona, California (CA). He is also the founder and Medical Director of Coastal Fertility Medical Center located in Irvine, CA.

Dr. Werlin was the Founder and Director of the Hoag Memorial Hospital Fertility Services, which started in Jan 1986. He is also serving as Associate Professor in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at UCI, where he has been a member of the Clinical Faculty since 1982.

His credentials as a leader in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility earn Dr. Werlin the respect of his peers and patients. Dr. Werlin pioneered the use of Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) in Southern California, and is considered a nationally noted expert in its application. Today, he is the principal investigator of two major PGD studies that are forging the way for the future of reproductive medicine.

Among his many accomplishments, Dr. Werlin was honored as the recipient of the National Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine, and served as the National Fellow in Reproductive Medicine at the National Institutes of Health. He also served as Chairman of the Validation Committee for the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technologies for nearly a decade.

Dr. Werlin has been listed in the Orange Coast Magazine as one of Orange County's Top Doctors (continuously from 1996 to 2006). He was selected by his peers to be listed as Orange County's Best Doctor in Infertility for 2000 & 2001. Dr. Werlin has been accepted as a life member of the National Registry of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Medicine & Healthcare, and has been selected to the Best Doctor's in America. He has authored numerous abstracts and articles in peer review journals in his subspecialty, and is currently a reviewer for the journal "Fertility & Sterility.

Dr. Werlin is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technologies, an organization in which he has held national offices since 1990. He is also a member of the Pacific Coast Fertility Society.
